How to make the Choosin' Texas emo AI video

Quick answer

Upload one waist-up photo of yourself to ChoosinTexasEmo, pick Standard (480p) or HD (720p) and press Generate. In usually under 10 minutes you get a 14.7-second vertical video of you performing the emo Choosin' Texas rooftop routine, lip-synced to the emo vocal, ready to post.

What you are making

On 29 September 2026 the creator @kobbapot posted Ella Langley's country hit Choosin' Texas as an over-the-top emo rock anthem, singing it on a parking garage roof at night. The clip took off on TikTok and people started copying it on their own rooftops.

You don't need a rooftop, a camera or a singing voice. The AI makes a video of you doing the routine with your own face, hair and clothes, and your lips move to the vocal from the original clip.

Step 1: Pick the right photo

The photo decides how good the video looks. Use one with:

  • You alone, waist up, so your face is large in the frame
  • Your face toward the camera, sharp and in focus
  • Even light: daylight or a bright room, no heavy shadows

Your outfit carries over, so wear what you want to be seen in: a hoodie, a band T-shirt or a cowboy hat all work for the emo look. Any adult can make it, young or old. More examples under Choosing a photo.

Step 2: Upload and choose a quality

Open the generator, add your photo and tick the box confirming the photo shows you, or an adult who agreed to it. Then pick a quality:

QualityResolutionLengthCredits
Standard480p14.7 s · 9:16100
HD720p14.7 s · 9:16200

Credits come in one-time packs: no subscription, and credits never expire. See pricing.

Step 3: Press Generate

You sign in with Google or email when you press Generate, not before. The video usually takes under 10 minutes. You can leave the page: the finished video waits in My videos and we email you when it is ready.

What happens in your video

Your 14.7-second cut follows the original routine move by move:

  • Off the wall into double rock horns: you push off the wall, step up to the camera and throw rock horns with both hands.
  • Pleading hands: hands clasped toward the lens, then a hand on your chest.
  • Back to the wall: back against the concrete ledge, head down before the high notes.
  • Wall squats and the screamed note: deep bounces against the wall, head thrown back.
  • The lunge at the camera: arms wide, a last shout, then a lunge toward the lens.

Step 4: Save it and post

  • On a computer or Android: press Download to get the MP4.
  • On iPhone: press Save to Photos, then Save Video in the share menu, so the video lands in your camera roll instead of the Files app.

The video is vertical 9:16, the format TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts use, with the sound already in it. Caption ideas: "If Choosin' Texas was emo 🤘" or "Me choosing Texas at 2am", with tags such as #choosintexas #emoversion #choosintexasemo #aivideo.

Say the video was made with AI when you share it. The song and the emo cover belong to their owners, so follow each platform's music rules, especially for ads or paid posts.
